Our works being carried out today consist of completing the slabbing works at the location currently being worked on, this includes the pointing of joints etc. Also there are drainage and kerbing works taking place opposite Neales Garage.

Worcester Road, Bromsgrove Footway and Carriageway Improvement Scheme

The first phase of the footway and carriageway improvement works to Worcester Road in Bromsgrove have commenced today and are being carried out on behalf of Worcestershire County Council. The works are expected to take nine weeks and will be undertaken during the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm.

We started outside no.3 (Ladbrokes), and we will work in small sections of the footway (approximately 30m long) on one side of the road to limit disruption; the works will move along Worcester Road towards the junction with Hanover Street. The footway works will then move on to the opposite side of the roadworking from the Hanover Street junction towards the High Street / Worcester Road junction.
