Worcester Road, Bromsgrove Footway and Carriageway Improvement Scheme

The first phase of the footway and carriageway improvement works to Worcester Road in Bromsgrove have commenced today and are being carried out on behalf of Worcestershire County Council. The works are expected to take nine weeks and will be undertaken during the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm.

We started outside no.3 (Ladbrokes), and we will work in small sections of the footway (approximately 30m long) on one side of the road to limit disruption; the works will move along Worcester Road towards the junction with Hanover Street. The footway works will then move on to the opposite side of the roadworking from the Hanover Street junction towards the High Street / Worcester Road junction.

We wil endevour to keep disruption to a minimum during this period and would appreciate your patience and cooperation during the completion of these works. Pedestrian access to businesses and properties will be maintained, however vehicle access will be restricted at times. If you require any special provisions please contact us for assistance. Please be aware that emergency vehicles will be given access shold they require it.
