Worcester Road, Bromsgrove Footway and Carriageway Improvement Scheme

Below is a short programme for the improvement works to be carried out on Worcester Road in Bromsgrove, please note that the works are weather dependant. Should the weather interupt our programme, we shall update our blog accordingly plus Terry Godwin (Public Liaison Officer) will communicate any changes when on site.

Phase 1
Resurfacing of the footway from High Street junction (by Ladbrokes) to the pedestrian crossings at the Hanover Street / Worcester Road junction on the eastern sode of Worcester Road (the side of the road with Ladbrokes and Neales Garage) - this phase is expected to take 4 weeks.

Phase 2
Resurfacing of the footway from High Street junction to the pedestrian crossings at the Hanover Street / Worcester Road junction on the western side of Worcester Road (the side of the road with the former Blockbuster store) - this phase is expected to take 4 weeks.

Phase 3
Carriageway resurfacing of Worcester Road - this work will be carried out on Sundays only once the footway resurfacing works have been completed - this phase is expected to take 3 Sundays.

The finished footway works will look similar to the footway on the High Street in Bromsgrove, however the slabs will be slightly different.
